Introduction

Volkelectro had its roots in Hamilton's factories, an unsuccessful CNC/lathe machining business started by Mitch D'Orto, later the machinist/vocalist gathered synth player Szilvi Martini and Andy Martini on drums for Volkelectro. Their rehersal space was across the street from the Corktown's fine estb. the noise and raunchy way of the street was soon insparitional into the emerging electro/pop wave scene of Steeltown.
