Introduction

Boss Rebel formed in September of 2006 when T-Roy (Bass) pitched the idea of starting a band to Mike (Vocals/Guitar). They immediately started the song writing process, and looking to fill out a band. Dan "Doug" Mcfarling (Guitar/Back-up vocals), a blues influenced guitarist, jumped at the idea and was added to the fold.

They immediately entered the studio to record a 3 song demo. The demo received such a huge response that plans to release a 6 song EP quickly turned to a full length album.

Boss Rebel's debut, "Gettin' Down on the Upstroke", recorded at Dansanman Studio, combines deep rhythmic bass lines, tight drums, and bright guitar licks with a solid, booming rock&roll sound.

Chock full of catching riffs, clever lyrics and enough sing-a-long choruses to please any music lover, "Gettin' Down on the Upstroke" proves Boss Rebel is a force to be reckoned with.
