Introduction

Born & Raised in the Durham/Clarington area "In The Act Of Violence" hails from the towns of Newcastle, Oshawa & Whitby Ontario to bring you nothing but the most intence music from these parts of our towns.

To all of you who actully like what we do and are there to support us every step we have been takeing it seriously means the world to us because this is the way we like to play our music infront of big crowds & infront of all our friends.

Now to the ones that have been to our shows you already know that with a band such as "IN THE ACT OV VIOLENCE" you will see a crazy stage presance and that you will hear the sounds of all these styles of music all added together.....

-Metalcore.
-Hardcore .
-Techcore.

And finally after comming up with a theory about what kinda music we play we found a word that we knew stuck out & That word is "Brakecore" we just wanted to have a different name for our style because we think we are different from most heavy bands so this is the one that stuck out most to us.

This band started in Jan of 2007 & in that little time we have got to play about 50 shows & some of them came with a bunch of wicked bands that are on major labels & to name a few of them we played shows with bands such as.....

- Augury = Galy Records.
- Thine Eyes Bleed = The End Records.
- With Blood = Propagonda Records.

We have recorded 6 of our 10 songs and are going back to the studio in November to finish out album "Hell From The Heavens" after it's done will just be touring it in Canada & shopping for a record label.
