Introduction

Black Kreek is a four-member hard rock/metal band from Essex County, Ontario. In 2001 Sean Girard (lead vocals, lead guitar) started jamming with Ken Amlin (drums), who he met in ninth grade music class. They were joined by Randy Barth (guitar, back-up vocals) also from their music class later that year. Within a month Adam St.Pierre (bass, back-up vocals), Sean’s childhood friend joined the band thus completing Black Kreek. Now together for 2 years, Black Kreek released a self-titled CD in April 2004. All songs were written, arranged, recorded, and mixed by the members of the band in Sean’s home studio. The band’s strong sound is the result of a heavy influence from Metallica, along with Slipknot, Pantera, Godsmack, system of a down and Led Zeppelin.
